About Locus

LOCUS is a technological festival organized by the students of Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering and the Department of Electrical Engineering, Pulchowk Engineering Campus, IOE. LOCUS creates and provides a fertile ground for all the technical innovative ideas and creations. It aims to build a healthy platform via different competitive as well as non competitive events thereby promoting entrepreneurship, professionalism, team spirit, and leadership skills among the students. LOCUS provides students from dozens of engineering colleges and numerous technical colleges, a common platform to come together and explore the realms of science and technology. It provides the students a golden opportunity not only to learn but also to showcase their talents. The apostle of knowledge can only be increased when subjected to tough competition. Gazing yourself from eyes of your peers adds more dimension to your work than any other thing does. Interaction between the students from different colleges enhances their communicating skills and helps better understand each others ideas. This way the students learn to project themselves and their ideas to the audience. We provide the platform for excellence. No doubt LOCUS has direct academic benefit.
